Class 1: Understanding Herbs (25. Aug. 2019, 11 am – 1 pm)
Through our own senses of smell and taste, we’ll learn the language of herbal actions. This class will include a tea tasting meditation and will provide a framework for choosing herbs with confidence.
Class 2: Herbs for the Nervous System (1. Sep. 2019, 11 am – 1 pm)
Learning to notice the state of your nervous system is one of the most important steps to understanding your own body and how to take care of it. In this class we’ll learn how it works and how to use herbs and other DIY therapies to keep it running smoothly.
Class 3: Herbs for the Digestive System (15. Sep. 2019, 11 am – 1 pm)
Most of your energy is used for digesting and assimilating the food you eat! Herbs are uniquely suited to supporting this central process of the body.
Class 4: Herbs for the Circulatory System (22. Sep. 2019, 11 am – 1 pm)
Keep it flowing! All the cells of your body need to be floating in just the right ocean water to thrive. We’ll discuss how to care for the circulatory system, and explore reading what we notice in each others pulses.
Class 5: Herbs for the Musculoskeletal System (29. Sep. 2019, 11 am – 1 pm)
Sustaining a sturdy frame and ease of movement is central to enjoying living in your body. We’ll learn self-massage techniques as well as discuss nutritional, movement, and herbal therapies.
Class 6: Herbal Formulation (6. Okt. 2019, 11 am – 1 pm)
Unleash your creativity as you formulate your own herbal blends. We’ll learn basic principles of formulation, and then practice them by making aroma blends.
